Before reaching out, try these common fixes:
Voice transcription isn't working
Kokoro Nikki uses on-device speech recognition. Go to your device Settings → Privacy → Microphone and make sure Kokoro Nikki has permission. On iOS, also check Settings → Privacy → Speech Recognition. Restarting the app usually resolves temporary issues.
The app won't open or crashes on launch
Force-close the app and reopen it. If the problem persists, try restarting your device. Make sure you're running the latest version of the app — updates often include stability fixes. If the issue continues, email us with your device model and OS version.
My entries aren't syncing across devices
Check that you're signed into the same account on both devices and that you have an active internet connection. Sync happens automatically when the app is open and connected. If entries are still missing after a minute, pull down on the journal list to trigger a manual refresh.
I was charged but the premium features aren't unlocked
Restore your purchase: go to Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. This re-validates your receipt with the App Store or Google Play. If the issue persists after restoring, email us with your order number and we'll resolve it promptly.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by the App Store or Google Play — not through the app itself. On iPhone/iPad: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
I forgot my password or can't log in
Tap 'Forgot password?' on the login screen to receive a reset link by email. If you don't see the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder. If you still can't access your account, email us and we'll help you manually.

Send an email to our support address and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. When reporting a bug, please include your device model (e.g. iPhone 15 Pro, Pixel 8), iOS or Android version, and the app version number found in Settings → About.
